Raegan + Zarie’s 1st Day of Summer Baskets

Hey, friends! Can you believe Summer starts June 20th? We are getting to the midpoint of 2020, and I am looking forward to so many things this summer–the biggest being the birth of our little guy. Sunshine, backyard shenanigans, all of the ripe produce, and grilled food make me so happy.

I love to kickoff summer by making the girls some fun little baskets of things for them to enjoy over the next several months–especially with us being mostly homebound. You can check out their baskets from last year over on Insta HERE. This year’s baskets are looking a little different, as we have been practicing social distancing for about three months now, and as a pregnancy precaution, I haven’t done any store browsing/shopping on my own. I typically would pick up a few things here and there, and store them away. Everything in these baskets can be ordered online. They’re also not going to be super dense, as the girls got their Easter Baskets not too long ago.

Their darling mint jelly baskets are from one of my favorites: Ellie and Piper Co–they are the smaller size. I thought these baskets would be a perfect gift on their own, as the girls can bring them along for our family beach trip in August…and on every picnic and scavenger hunt in between. The hand lettered chalk initial tags are from another favorite of mine: Chalk Designs by Me. How perfect is that white and gold?! Reminds me of the shimmer on top of the ocean at sunset.

I hope these fun filled items serve as some inspiration for creating your own baskets for your littles, but remember none of us NEED anything to have a fun summer–family and sunshine are the perfect recipe.

Ill be sharing an Instagram story highlight for you to refer back to these items, and see them up close in videos. Enjoy and comment with any questions!
