Friends, I am beyond excited to share the details behind this dream room makeover with you. Pottery Barn Kids is one of my longest partnerships, and we are partnering with them again for another beautiful room update featuring their Disney The Little Mermaid Collection.
Back in 2020, we moved Raegan and Zarie into the same room at ages 4 and 2. It is mind-blowing to see how tiny they were in the original room blog post. Then last year, we did a complete makeover with Pottery Barn Kids and all of the Disney princesses. You can see that post here. This year we are updating the girls’ room with the new Disney The Little Mermaid Collection!
Their “seadrift” colored wood furniture with carved detailing matches the Under the Sea feel perfectly, so we focused on bedding and decor. The GREENGUARD Gold Certified furniture also ensures cleaner indoor air where the girls sleep and play so that is also an added benefit.
The bedding always makes a huge impact on the look and feel of the girls’ space. The stitched details are absolutely stunning, and always compliment their beds and decor. The crown cornices are still fitting with this under the sea princess theme, which is great because the girls still love to pull their shears and snuggle up for some reading in bed.
