It’s Pinkmas in Raegan and Zarie’s room! Switching up their bedroom seasonally is always so much fun. They have actually gotten to the age now where they want to help do it. We store seasonal decor and books away, so getting everything out again always feels like a treat. They choose books for their shelves and fun pillows for their beds. This year is all about the pink sugarplum fairy magic. If you’re wanting to decorate bedrooms for the holidays, here are a few tips that make a big affordable impact:
1. Festive Sheets – I snagged the nutcracker ones on clearance after Christmas last year.
2. Holiday Books – we built our collection over years with 1-2 new books each year. The library is an amazing FREE way to snag these titles.
3. Artwork – We love reusing our @opalplusolive signs but you can also print holiday art and frame it yourself!
Reuse, reuse, reuse. Check out everything you already have before searching new. There are quite a few decor items in here that I’ve kept and reused over and again. I did link everything I could on my LTK, including their gorgeous bedroom furniture. Most of the tree ornaments have been collected over the years from Target, World Market, Michaels and CraftSpring. You can check out a full video tour in my Christmas highlight over on Instagram. If you have any questions I am here to help.

I love all the festive sheets, but I hate storing them! I think I shared with Shakira, because I am trying to be more minimalist, I actually like to just get festive pillowcases and use white sheets. My kid still thinks it’s great and I only have a small thing to store!!
I absolutely LOVE this idea!
