BIRD’S NEST BREAKFAST BOWLS – This is easily the most versatile and FUN Spring breakfast idea for kids–or really adults. They are almost like having sundaes for breakfast–but they’re fruit parfaits.
I made “nests” from freshly made waffle bowls and basically filled them with my kids’ fav yogurt, fruit, and toppings. If you want to save yourself even more time, you can grab the crunchier pre-made waffle bowls at your local grocery store. I really love how easily you can make this recipe your own.
- Waffle Bowl Maker HERE
- Pre-Made Waffle Bowls HERE
- Yogurt (THIS is my kids’ favorite)
- Cheerios or your fav grain cereal
- Fruit of your choice (we like strawberries and bananas)
- OPTIONAL: Granola, Honey, Chocolate Chips, Maple Syrup
- Easter Sprinkles HERE
- Carrot Napkins HERE
- Bunny Serving Tray HERE
Tweak it to fit your likes—add a drizzle of honey, granola, maple syrup, or chocolate chips, and VOILA, a simple themed breakfast that yields no bowls to wash. The waffle bowl is the best part. I hope you family loves this recipe as much as I do. Be sure to TAG me on IG so I can see the fun!
MOM TIP: Tie this bird’s nest breakfast in with a Spring themed book for a little extra magic. I’ve shared our favorites below.
