DIY Applesauce Pouch Valentines

Hey, friends! Helping the kiddos create valentines to exchange has always been a favorite tradition of mine each season. As a huge fan of puns, I always love the fun creative options that it leaves us. This year, we decided to do applesauce pouches for Zarie’s PREK classroom. She loves them, and is beyond excited that she gets to share this snack with her friends.

All you really need to create these are pouches, fun tags, a hole punch and ribbon or yarn. I’ve linked all of my supplies below. My printable is from The Ever Co, a favorite veteran owned small shop of mine. You can find a download to their FREE printable below. What I love is that they donate the proceeds from their Printables to their nonprofit, Mission 31, which helps military families in need.

I uploaded the printable download to the Staples.com print and copy shop, and picked it up same day. My suggestion is to print these tags out on white cardstock. You can snag the cardstock here and print at home as well. I’ve linked our at home printer HERE.

From there I cut out the tags, punched holes at the top with my hole punch, and pulled through some chunky and sparkly yarn–both can be found at Hobby Lobby. I tied the yarn around the base of the pouch top. Done. So easy!

I also love that these valentines are so allergen friendly, while a lot of typical valentine chocolate and candies are not. You can grab these adorable mini pink applesauce pouches HERE. They’re such an affordable option for Valentine’s Day!

If you have any questions, please leave them below. Be sure to tag me on Instagram if you recreate these adorable valentines. Happy Memory Making!
