Hey, friends! We’ve been in California for over a month now, and it looks like I am staring to see some light at the end of the tunnel. The boxes are gone, our things are mostly put away, and we are on a mission to make this new space feel like home. First up, is my office. It is where all of the mama magic happens haha. Yall this was the very last space I unpacked. I’ve been working all over the place…the master bedroom…kitchen counter, you name it. I can’t say enough how happy I am to finally have this little creative space of mine put together. You can see above my desk I have two of the most stunning pieces, Festooned and Paramount from artist Brandy Brown of Marabou Design. Every time Mark comes into my office, he says the faces remind him of mine. I love that.
For the kids’ bathroom, we decided to have a little fun. They have the cutest coral tile in their bathroom, and I love how it makes all of the sealife decor in there pop. We ordered two of the whimsical Little Septopus art prints by Jackie Crawford for their space. We got one in the color “cloud” and one in “orangesicle”. I love that Minted offers so many gorgeous color options. Adding in playful artwork instantly elevated their space. All ready for plenty of bubble bath giggles.
The last space I want to share with yall is our main hallway. We wanted to make a bold statement here, as it is completely open to the rest of the house, and faces the gorgeous windows in front of our home. Mark is actually the one who fell for the Black Sand I, Black Sand II, and Black Sand III fine art prints by artist Karly Rose Sahr. He saw them and immediately thought that we should order them in large 24” x 30” prints. We chose sleek white wood frames for them as well. I LOVE how they turned out. Bold, warm, and a charming ode to our new coastal home. I absolutely love walking by them each morning.
