My Merry Little Mudroom

With such a heavy year, my heart is so incredibly thankful for the simple certainties of life. My family, full bellies, and a warm home that feels like our safe haven. As a military spouse, it has always been important to me to make our home feel personal and inviting. There is a lot of change that comes with our lifestyle, and I want to make sure that our little family feels collected and cozy within the walls of our home. Especially during the holidays. Give me all of the Christmas cheer!

Thanks for sponsoring this post, Target. I make it a point to only collaborate with brands that I truly enjoy and love. All opinions are entirely my own.

I am so excited to be teaming up with Target to share our mudroom space with you all. This is a high traffic space, right off our garage, where we all, quite literally, hang up the outside world, and slip into the comfort of home. I wanted to make the space feel warm and inviting, and I knew Target was the perfect place to snag #allthethings haha. I am a Target mama through and through. I love the breadth of beautiful options that they always have. I can find both traditional and whimsical –both heirloom quality and bargain options. When I went looking for holiday decor for our mudroom, I knew Target would have what I needed. Here are the simple additions I used to add some merriment to our space.

Greenery

Nothing says Winter Wonderland like evergreens and snowy details. I LOVE the heavy flocked wreath and flocked garland combo used on the entryway wall and above the mudroom hooks. The pinecones are so pretty and realistic; these details packed such a big punch. This was a great way to achieve the look of natural greenery, with the convenience of faux.

When I saw the sweetest little flocked trees in their baskets, they were a must have. I snagged both the 3ft tree and the 2ft version.

Festive Signage

Y’all, I LOVE this NOEL sign. The deep brown panel really makes the white lettering pop. The addition of the greenery in the corner is the perfect little detail. Fun Fact: Raegan’s middle name is Noelle–totally named after the French word for Christmas.

Cozy Pillows

Give me ALL the cozy pillows. In my opinion, cozy pillows are a mudroom must-have. There is nothing like getting home, dropping everything, and having a comfy seat to catch your breath. I went with a fun mix of neutrals and patterns. The oversized green grid pillows are my favorite–and also come in red. Another favorite is the Opalhouse holiday embroidered Christmas tree pillow. There are just so many gorgeous details.

Patterned Rug

How fun is this rug? Y’all, I have been on the lookout for a small rug for our mudroom, and I wanted something that would easily transition throughout the seasons. I fell in love with our geometric woven accent rug. It’s the perfect combination of beauty and durability, for such a high traffic space. I think it ties in well with the greenery and pillows.

If you know me, then you know I have a rather “intense” mug collection. I love me a good mug, especially a holiday themed one. I could not leave Target without this “Merry Everything” stoneware mug. It’s the perfect mug to fill with hot cocoa, and soak in the sights of the season.

I hope you’ve enjoyed a peek into my Merry Little Mudroom! I encourage you to make your spaces everything you need this season. Warm, cozy and inviting!
