Beginning Milestones

Milestones mark significant changes or stages in our development, and as a new mama of three, I’ve learned that newborn milestones come and go far too quickly. Our sweet Xander is two months old now, and he’s hitting the stage of development where he coos and smiles at us. I don’t mean those warm little gas bubble grins and sounds; I mean those intentional first smiles when you can tell that they actually know it is you. The ones that you know are fueled by pure adoration and joy. The ones that light up your entire heart.

To encourage these new behaviors, I try my best to match his smiles, and reply to his coos. It is important to my husband and I that we do everything we can to promote Xander’s healthy development, from the very start.

There are so many important concerns when caring for a newborn, like sleep patterns, breastfeeding and postnatal development. Thankfully, what diapers and wipes to use isn’t something I’ve had to think twice about. Since we first found out we were expecting our oldest, Raegan, my mother-in-law suggested Pampers to us. I believe her exact words were “only the best will do,” and ever since then Pampers have been our #1 diaper of choice. I made it a habit with each of my pregnancies to start a diaper stockpile by picking up a package of Pampers Swaddles and a package of Pampers Sensitive Wipes each time I went grocery shopping. As a matter of fact, each of our children’s first diapers were Pampers Swaddlers.

They are the #1 Pediatrician recommended brand to keep baby’s skin dry and healthy by design, and I’ve trusted Pampers diapers and Sensitive Wipes since day one. Not only can I trust Pampers Swaddlers to get the job done, but keeping Xander’s skin dry means keeping it healthy and irritation free. For me, that’s just as important as making sure he reaches his milestones like motor skills and sleep habits. He wears a diaper 24/7 and I want to make sure to keep him dry and comfy so he can keep those million dollar smiles coming!

It is also great to know that when I grab our Pampers Sensitive Wipes to clean up messy toddler faces and sticky hands, that they won’t irritate big sister’s sensitive skin. I love that we’ve been able to count on Pampers Swaddlers from our very first days.

Best wishes to all the mamas out there rooting for their babies, during development, while simultaneously hoping the milestones don’t pass too quickly. Im right there with you!

Pampers gifted these products to me in exchange for my paid honest review. I make it a point to only collaborate with brands that I truly enjoy and love. All opinions are entirely my own.

  1. Great info thanks for sharing!
My baby is now 16 months but we have had small issues with sensitive skin as well and a so if pampers wipes are for sensitive Skin I might have to give them a try.

  2. They were practically all I used for Roslyn. Other brands made her break out so I didn’t really ger anything else with Benji.
