Portable Snacking with Whiskware™

Hey, friends! I am super excited to be sharing one of my new favorite snack time mom hacks with you! Over the last few months, I have been trying to be more sustainable household purchasing decisions. I have made an effort to reduce waste by swapping out one-time use plastic snack bags with reusable washable options. Both of our girls LOVE snacks, and eat about a million every day–so we could easily waste a ton of plastic bags. I recently fell in love with Whiskware™ Stackable Snack Packs! They are portable stacking snack containers that make on-the-go (or at home) goodies for Raegan and Zarie SO easy.

They come in SO many colors, and fun designs like Harry Potter, Marvel Comics, and Farm Animals. Raegan and Zarie have been all about building and drawing robots these days, so I figured they’d get a kick out of mama making robots out of their snacks. I love the color combinations of these sturdy plastic stacks. They are also BPA, BPS and PVC free!

Each Snack Pack comes with three Twist n’Lock™ containers–two 1 cup containers, and one 1/3 cup container. They’re also topped with a removable handle thats perfect for tiny hands to grab to bring along. It takes me just a few minutes to fill Raegan and Zarie’s Snack Packs to bring with us for whatever the day brings. I like that they seal shut, and I don’t have to worry about leaks. Plus, I can easily separate dry snacks from fresh fruit and veggies. Anyone else have a child who doesn’t like their food to touch?

We recently took the girls on a little beach getaway, and I knew their Snack Packs would be a great option for our road trip. They were able to enjoy their snacks in the car, and I even packed myself carrots and hummus as a snack, in the Mini Whiskware™ Snacking Container. In the smaller top compartment, I packed my postnatal vitamins for the duration of our trip, and simply kept that compartment in my purse. So convenien,t and we saved money by bringing our own food.

Once we got to our beach cottage, I simply washed them out with the rest of our dishes. They wiped clean with ease. I ended up packing them again when we went out to the beach, and threw them right in the cooler. No sticky plastic bags with sandy fingers. I loved that Raegan and Zarie could grab these on their own to enjoy. They also fit right into the cupholder section of their stroller wagon and car seat cup holders.
