Planning a Hallmark Movie Girls Night

Hey there! Who is ready for the recipe for a super fun holiday girls night? Hallmark Movie Bingo, face masks, and the yummiest recipes. I’ve got all the goods to make a cozy night in loads of fun!

Festive Decor

I got all of our party decor supplies from Studio Pep Artisan Party Goods. They have a ton of different options in their Merry and Bright collection that I just couldn’t pass up. I included the Merry and Bright Balloon Garland, Confetti Sparkles, FALALA banner, and Tassel Garland. I wanted to create a Christmas garland on my mantle that mimicked actual green garland with fun pink and sparkle ornaments. Studio Pep makes it so easy by including everything you need in the balloon and tassel garland kits. I simply used an electric balloon inflater, and creating this beautiful decor took me less than an hour.

Yummy Eats

I always love to have a bunch of yummy options for my guests. The girls night was planned for after dinner, but who doesn’t want to munch and sip on a few good things while trying out charcoal face masks ?

I have the perfect holiday punch recipe for you, that I served up in my favorite Santa pitcher. I chilled rosé so guests had the option for an alcoholic beverage in the prettiest stemless champagne flutes.

Santa Punch:
– 2 Cups Orange Juice
– 2 Cups Cranberry Juice
– 1 Cup Pineapple Juice
– 1 Cup Gingerale
(try and get juices not from concentrate–it makes all the difference)
Garnish with fresh cranberries and/or orange slices.

I ordered the most delicious vegan donuts from one of my favorite bakeshops–Pookie B’s Homemade Sweets. She created a mix of decadent gingerbread and chocolate fudge (Rudolph) donuts for us to enjoy. I displayed them on this darling “Treat Yo Self” donut wall.

I also served up fresh raw veggies on my fun Christmas tree shaped platter, mixed fresh fruit, LINDOR chocolate truffles, and my favorite spinach and artichoke dip (that I didn’t even get a photo of–sorry). It is always a fan favorite, and I served it up with assorted bread bites, crackers and pretzels. I’ve included the super easy recipe below.

Spinach and Artichoke Dip
Ingredients:
– 8oz cream cheese
– 16oz sour cream
– 1 stick of butter
– 2 cups of shaved parmesan cheese
– 14oz quartered artichoke hearts
– 10oz frozen spinach, thawed and drained
– 2-3 cloves of pressed garlic
Directions:
1. Melt together cream cheese, sour cream, butter, and parmesan cheese. Stirring frequently until melted together.
2. Stir in chopped artichoke hearts and spinach.
3. Stir in garlic and sit in the oven to bubble the top layer.
4. Serve hot. Enjoy.

Hallmark Movie Bingo

If you’re like me, than you love to keep your TV on the Hallmark Channel all season long. I love all of the super cliche movie plots, and over the top Christmas themes. With Studio Pep’s Holiday Movie Bingo Party Kit you get: 6 bingo cards, 6 mini “Oh What Fun” pencils, and one prize tag. Purchase the kit HERE.

You fill in the bingo cards with common Hallmark Movie themes…city slicker visits small Christmas town, snow, a main character from the 90s, kissing under the mistletoe, Santa sighting, etc. Then you enjoy the movie with friends while swooning and filling in your cards. For my girls night the winner got to take home a bottle of Christmas wine and Belgian chocolates.

Snag your decor, put together the snack menu, and pick out a Hallmark Movie favorite to enjoy with your girlfriends. Not sure which one to choose? Here is a list by Southern Living with the “Best Hallmark Movies of All-Time!”
